Frequently Asked Questions
Viewing a webinar on the Ontario Telemedicine Network
Our webinars always scheduled for 12:00PM to 1:00PM ET, with the final 15 minutes set for questions.
Our webinars are all hosted on the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). Registration is NOT required to watch them. You can view the webinar by clicking on the “View Webinar” button for each listing.
The only exception is if you want to participate in video conference live, you will have to contact your OTN Telemedicine Coordinator to do so.
Assuming that your browsers are all up-to-date, they should now be compatible with OTN. Please click here for more information.
Presentations are usually archived within 5 business days. You will be able to find the webinar in our archived section here.
Chrome has it's own version of Flash. You do not need to install a separate plugin to watch a webinar. To enable this, type chrome://settings/content in your address bar. Under content settings, look for Flash. Make sure that the toggle is set to Ask first (recommended). This will ensure that you are able to allow Flash for specific sites.
If Firefox blocks a plugin, rather than seeing content, you'll see a message prompting you to click to run the plugin, such as Adobe Flash.
On some sites, you'll see just a blank rectangle, and the plugin notification icon will appear toward the left end of the address bar.
If you click the message or the notification icon to activate the plugin, Firefox will prompt you with these options:
- Allow: Activates Flash only for a single visit. To automatically activate Flash for all future visits to that site, check the Remember this decision checkbox.
- Don't Allow: Dismisses the notification prompt without activating Flash.
If you click to activate and allow the plugin, the missing content will load normally. (If it doesn't, click the reload button in the toolbar to reload the page and try again.)
In Microsoft Edge navigate to the website that is missing Flash content
On the top right-hand side of the address bar you may notice a puzzle icon
Click the puzzle icon which will display a flyout Adobe Flash content was blocked.
Click Allow once to allow Flash content to run on that page for just one time.
